Welcome to Board.Vision Tutorials. In this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps to annotate documents.
Important Note: The Board.Vision web app is optimized and supported for desktop use on Google Chrome (version 65.0 and later) and Microsoft Edge (version 87.0 and later). Please note that this support is intended for desktop environments and is not applicable to mobile devices.
To annotate documents:
1) Log in to your Board.Vision account using your registered email address and password.
2) Open the document you would like to annotate.
When opening a document, the annotation toolbar will be shown at the top right of the screen
3) Choose the tool - Pen, Eraser, Insert Text, Highlighter, or Add Notes to start annotating the document.
Please note that your annotations will be auto-saved into your Board.Vision account and will be your copy hence it will not be seen by other Directors.
Below is a description of each of the annotation functions.
4) To delete the annotation(s),
a) Click on the Pen icon and select Eraser, to remove any Drawing or Freeform Highlight only.
b) To remove any types of annotations, start by deselecting any annotation icons from the toolbar at the top of the screen (see blue box). Next, choose the specific annotation you want to delete (see red box) and click on the Trash icon (see green box).
c) You can also delete any annotations by doing the following,
(i) Click on the arrow down button next to the four little squares icon at the top left and select Annotations from the drop-down.
(ii) You will be able to view all the Business Users' and Administrators' annotation records.
Choose the annotation that you would like to remove from the listing and click on the Trash icon.
5) To view the original document, click on the Eye icon at the top right of the screen.
