In this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps to add a CEO to the Register of CEOs and confirm his or her date of appointment.


Important Note: Board.Vision web app is supported on Google Chrome (version 65.0 and later) and Microsoft Edge (version 87.0 and later).  


To add a CEO to the Register of CEOs : 


1) Log in to your Board.Vision account using your registered email address and password. 

 

2) Once you are logged in, navigate to Registers from the left menu. Proceed to the Register of CEOs listing page, and click on the + button at the top right.


3) After clicking the "+" button, the "Register of CEOs" screen will appear.

  • In this screen, locate the "Present Full Name" field.
  • Click on the drop-down list and select the Director’s name from the available options.


Note: The dropdown displays Directors who have been added as a users in the Users module.

 

4) Fill in the required fields (Nationality, ID Type, ID Number, Appointment Date, and Address) and click "Add to Register."



5) Once you have clicked on Add to Register, the CEO’s appointment and details will be added to the Register with a Pending status. 


To confirm a CEO's date of appointment:

1) Check the box next to the Director’s name and click on the "Confirm Date of Appointment" button.


2) On the "Confirm Register" pop-up window, select the appropriate circulation status.


Note: The selected circulation status determines how the appointment/interest appears in the Director's Section 156 Current Appointments/Interests within the Director's Disclosure module.


a) Yes, it requires circulation

  • The appointment/interest status will be displayed as "Pending Circulation", and a disclosure circulation will be required.

b) No, it does not require circulation

  • The appointment/interest status will be displayed as "Not Circulable", and no disclosure circulation will be required.

c) No, it's already circulated

  • The appointment/interest status will be displayed as "Circulated", and no disclosure circulation will be required.


The circulation status will be reflected in this "Director's Disclosure Circulation Status" column.
