Welcome to Board.Vision Tutorials. In this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps to assign an Administrator a sub-role.


Important Note: The Board.Vision web app is optimized and supported for desktop use on Google Chrome (version 65.0 and later) and Microsoft Edge (version 87.0 and later). Please note that this support is intended for desktop environments and is not applicable to mobile devices.  

 


To assign an Administrator a sub-role:


1) Log in to your Board.Vision account using your registered email address and password.


2) Click on Your Profile Picture at the top right of your screen.  


3) Then, click on Access Rights Settings from the dropdown menu.  


4) You will be directed to the "Access Rights Settings" page, which lists all the Administrators in the company and their sub-role (if any).


5) Click on the Assign Sub Role icon from the Action column.


6) From the "Assign Sub Role" pop-up window, select the sub role provided in the dropdown. Then, click on Confirm.


Important Note: There are four levels of Administrator Access Rights. Please refer to the Admin Access Rights Matrix to find out more. 


Administrator Assignment Permissions:

  1. Product Owner:

    • Can assign a Normal Administrator the Product Owner, Super Administrator or Elevated Administrator sub-role.
  2. Super Administrator:

    • Can assign a Normal Administrator the Elevated Administrator sub-role only.
  3. Normal Administrator and Elevated Administrator:
    • Do not have the right to assign any Administrators.
