Welcome to Board.Vision Tutorials. In this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps to enable or disable the allow document download option by default.


Important Note: The Board.Vision web app is optimized and supported for desktop use on Google Chrome (version 65.0 and later) and Microsoft Edge (version 87.0 and later). Please note that this support is intended for desktop environments and is not applicable to mobile devices.   



To enable or disable the allow document download option by default:

1) Log in to your Board.Vision account using your registered email address and password. 


2) Click on Your Profile Picture at the top right of your screen.  


3) Then, click on Global Settings from the dropdown menu.   


4) On the "Global Settings" page, navigate to the Document Settings section and you will find the "Allow download by default" checkbox.


5) To enable the allow document download by default, select the checkbox.


6) Upon uploading any documents associated with the Company Profile, Users, User Groups, Meetings, Approvals, and Registers module, the "Allow download" checkbox will be checked by default.


7) To disable the allow document download by default, deselect the checkbox.


8) Upon uploading any documents associated with the Company Profile, Users, User Groups, Meetings, Approvals, and Registers module, the "Allow download" checkbox will be unchecked by default.
