Welcome to Board.Vision Tutorials. In this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps to set the signature type for signatories' e-signing in the SmartSign module.


Important Note: The Board.Vision web app is optimized and supported for desktop use on Google Chrome (version 65.0 and later) and Microsoft Edge (version 87.0 and later). Please note that this support is intended for desktop environments and is not applicable to mobile devices.   



To set the signature type for signatories' e-signing in the SmartSign module:

1) Log in to your Board.Vision account using your registered email address and password. 


2) Click on Your Profile Picture at the top right of your screen.  


3) Then, click on Global Settings from the dropdown menu.   


4) On the "Global Settings" page, navigate to the SmartSign Settings section and you will find the option to select the signature types such as:


a) Type Signature

b) Draw Signature

c) Upload Signature


5) Type Signature


a) To give Signatories the option to only type their signature, select the Type Signature checkbox.


b) Signatories will then see a signature screen where they can type their signature.


6) Draw Signature


a) To give Signatories the option to only draw their signature, select the Draw Signature checkbox.


b) Signatories will then see a signature screen where they can draw their signature.


7) Upload Signature


a) To give Signatories the option to only upload a signature, select the Upload Signature checkbox.


b) Signatories will then see a signature screen where they can upload their signature from their desktop/laptop.
