Welcome to Board.Vision Tutorials. In this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps to set a new registered secretary automatically as the named company secretary by default in the Registers module.


Important Note: The Board.Vision web app is optimized and supported for desktop use on Google Chrome (version 65.0 and later) and Microsoft Edge (version 87.0 and later). Please note that this support is intended for desktop environments and is not applicable to mobile devices.   



To set a new registered secretary automatically as the named company secretary by default in the Registers module:

1) Log in to your Board.Vision account using your registered email address and password. 


2) Click on Your Profile Picture at the top right of your screen.  


3) Then, click on Global Settings from the dropdown menu.   


4) On the "Global Settings" page, navigate to the Register Settings section and you will find the "The newly registered secretary will be automatically named as the Company Secretary by default" checkbox.


5) To enable the option by default, select the checkbox.


6) Upon registering a new secretary in the Register of Secretaries, the 'Named Company Secretary' checkbox will be checked by default.
