iPad and iPhone Users: Allowing Administrators to Enable or Disable the "Add Remarks" Feature for Approvals

Modified on Thu, 17 Apr at 11:06 AM

We have introduced a new enhancement that allows Administrators to control the "Add Remarks" function within the Approvals module on iPad and iPhone.

Administrators can now enable or disable the "Add Remarks" function when submitting their responses for Approvals.
This provides greater flexibility in managing approval workflows based on organisational needs.

How It Works:

1) For Administrators

  • If “Allow Business User to Add Remarks” is checked, the "Add Remarks" option will be visible in the Business Users' action list.
  • If “Allow Business User to Add Remarks” is unchecked, the "Add Remarks" option will be hidden from the action list.

2) For Business Users

a) On iPad

  • If the Administrator enables the “Allow Business User to Add Remarks”Business Users will see the Add Remarks feature after clicking on the Actions button.

  • If the Administrator disables the “Allow Business User to Add Remarks”Business Users will not see the Add Remarks feature after clicking on the Actions button.

b) On iPhone

  • If the Administrator enables the “Allow Business User to Add Remarks”Business Users will see the Add Remark feature after clicking on the Actions button.

  • If the Administrator disables the “Allow Business User to Add Remarks”Business Users will not see the Add Remark feature after clicking on the Actions button.
