Welcome to Board.Vision Tutorials!
In this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps to act on an Approval with Face ID or Touch ID.
Note:
- This article applies to Board.Vision iPad app version 4.0.0 and requires iPadOS 17.0 or later.
- Face ID / Touch ID authentication is available only for Approvals that do not require a One-Time Password (OTP).
To act on an Approval with Face ID or Touch ID:
1) Log in to the Board.Vision App with your registered email address and password.
2) Select the approval on the Dashboard.
3) The Approval Information panel displays the deadline, the Approval document, any Supporting documents (if available), and the list of Voters. On the right side, you can view the document.
Tap on the Action button at the bottom right of the screen.

Note: The voter list is hidden if the Approval is set to closed.
4) Tap Action to view the available options.
To leave a comment, select Add Remarks.

Note: Remarks are visible to Administrators and Participants. Remarks cannot be added after submitting your response.
5) Select Approve, Disapprove, or Abstain (if enabled).

6) If remarks were added, you may edit them before continuing. Otherwise, select Continue without editing.

7) On the signature screen, tap Proceed.

8) If OTP verification is required, enter the 6-digit OTP sent via email or SMS.
9) Proceed with Face ID (facial recognition) or Touch ID (fingerprint scan) to verify your identity.

10) Once authentication is successful, your response will be recorded and visible on the document. Administrators will be notified immediately.
