Welcome to Board.Vision Tutorials. In this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps to void a document.
Important Note: The Board.Vision web app is optimized and supported for desktop use on Google Chrome (version 65.0 and later) and Microsoft Edge (version 87.0 and later).
To void a document:
1) Log in to your Board.Vision account using your registered email address and password.
2) Once you are logged in, click on SmartSign from the left menu.
3) Click on the Select Action button under the "Action" column.
4) Then, select Void from the pop-up menu.
Note: The Preparer is able to void documents with "In Circulation" or "Declined" status.
5) Once you have clicked on the Void button, a Void Document window will pop up. Enter the reason in the "Reason for voiding this document" text field and click on Void.
6) Once the document has been voided successfully, the status will be changed to "Cancelled".
7) An email from notifications@board.vision with the title “<Company Name>: SmartSign - Document was void” will be sent to all the signatories and the preparer.
Important Note:
Once the document has been voided by the preparer, the signatories will be directed to the screen below when they click on the "Review Document" link in the email.
