We have enhanced the Approvals Basic Information page on Board.Vision web app to align with the user interface for Approvals on the iPad.

 

Previously, when Business Users clicked on Action Required from ‘Home’, they were redirected to the ‘View Approvals Basic Information’ page. Then, they had to click on the View Document button to open the approval document.

 

Now, similar to the iPad interface, once Business Users have clicked on the View Document button, they will be redirected to the enhanced Approval Basic Information page. On the left side, Business Users will see the Deadline, Approval document, Supporting document (if any), and Voters. On the right, he/she will see the document and Actions button.
 

Below is a comparison of the previous and current designs for your reference. 

Previous Design

1. After clicking the Action Required button from ‘Home’, they were redirected to the ‘View Approvals Basic Information’ page.


2. On the View Approvals Basic Information page, they had to click the View Document button to open the approval document.


3. Once they had clicked the View Document button, they were redirected to view the PDF document in a new tab. The Supporting document and Actions icon were displayed on the bottom right side of the screen.

Current Design

1. After clicking the Action Required button from ‘Home’, they will be redirected to the ‘View Approvals Basic Information’ page.

 

 

2. Once they have clicked the View Document button, Users will be redirected to the enhanced Approval Basic Information page. On the left side, Business Users will see the Deadline, Approval document, Supporting document (if any), and Voters. On the right, he/she will see the document and Actions button.
