We have enhanced the Business User's approval process within the Approvals module to align with the mobile approval process.

 

Previously, after adding a remark, Business Users were required to input a signature before editing their remark when clicking on the Approve, Disapprove, or Abstain button.


Now, the sequence has been adjusted, requiring Business Users to edit their remarks first, before inputting their signature.

 

Previous Workflow:

  1. The Business User clicked the Approve, Disapprove, or Abstain buttons.
  2. The Business User was prompted to input their signature.
  3. The Business User was prompted to edit the remark.
  4. The Business User entered the one-time password ("OTP") for verification.
  5. The Approval process was completed.

 

Current Workflow:

  1. The Business User clicks the Approve, Disapprove, or Abstain button.
  2. The Business User is prompted to edit the remark.
  3. The Business User is prompted to input their signature.
  4. The Business User enters the one-time password ("OTP") for verification.
  5. The approval process is completed.

 

To act on an Approval:

 

1) Log in to your Board.Vision account using your registered email address and password. 

 

2) Once you have logged in, you will be directed to Home. By default, Home will display the Approvals pending your action.

3) To view the Approval, click on the Action Required button.

4) On the left of your screen, you will be able to see the Deadline, Approval document, Supporting document (if any), and Voters.

5)  On the right, you will be able to view the document.

6) Next, tap on the Actions button at the bottom right of the screen.

7) Once you have tapped on the Actions button, it will expand, revealing several action buttons.

If you wish to leave a comment on the Approval, tap on Add Remarks

 

Note: Your comment will be visible to both Administrators and other Directors. Once you have submitted your response action (Approve, Disapprove or Abstain), you will not be able to add any remarks.

8) To act on the Approval, tap on Approve, Disapprove, or Abstain

9) Once you have tapped on a response action, if you have submitted any remarks, you will be prompted to edit your remarks first, before you proceed. Tap on Continue without editing or Go to Edit.

10) Following your response selection, a screen will appear, reflecting your chosen response. Tap on Continue

11)  If the Approval requires an OTP to affirm your response, you will receive a 6-digit OTP on your registered mobile phone number via SMS. Alternatively, you can use Authy to generate an OTP.

12) After successful authentication, your response will be captured at the bottom of the document. Administrators will be promptly notified via email and will have the ability to view your submission instantly.
