Security Settings: How to Enable or Disable the 4-Digit PIN for Mobile Users

Welcome to Board.Vision Tutorials. In this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps to enable or disable the 4-digit PIN for mobile users.


Important Note: The Board.Vision web app is optimized and supported for desktop use on Google Chrome (version 65.0 and later) and Microsoft Edge (version 87.0 and later). 


To enable or disable the 4-digit PIN for mobile users:

1) Log in to your Board.Vision account using your registered email address and password. 


2) Click on Your Profile Picture at the top right of your screen.  


3) Then, click on Global Settings from the dropdown menu.   


4) On the "Global Settings" page, navigate to the SecuritySettings section and you will find the "Require 4-digit PIN to access mobile app" checkbox.


5) To enable the 4-digit PIN, select the checkbox.


6) Upon accessing the Board.Vision app on mobile devices, Users will be prompted with the "Enter PIN" screen after logging in with their email address and password. This serves as an additional layer of security.


7) To disable the 4-digit PIN, deselect the checkbox.
