We have enhanced the process for Administrators when adding users to the Registers module.


This enhancement addresses two key objectives:

  1. To avoid duplicate entries of register profiles.
  2. To ensure that register records are aligned with user profiles on Board.Vision.


Previously, adding a user to the Registers module involved a pop-up window for the "Add New Entry" option, where Administrators could select either Existing Board.Vision User or New User.  


Now, Administrators will no longer encounter this pop-up option and can directly select users from a dropdown list. 


Important Note:
These enhancements apply to the following registers:

  • Register of Directors
  • Register of CEOs
  • Register of Secretaries
  • Register of Members
  • Register of Key Personnel


Enhanced Process Details

1) Adding a New Board.Vision User to the Register of Director/CEO/Secretary/Member/Key Personnel:

a) Add the new Director/CEO/Secretary/Member/Key Personnel in the Users module.
b) Go to the Registers module (e.g., Register of Directors/Register of CEOs) and select the new user's name from the dropdown list.


2) Adding an Existing Board.Vision User to the Register of Director/CEO/Secretary/Member/ Key Personnel:

a) Go to the Registers module, and select the existing user's name from the dropdown list.


3) Adding a Non-Board.Vision Director/CEO/Secretary/Member/Key Personnel to the Registers Module:

a) Add the Non-Board.Vision user in the Users module and save as a draft user.
b) Go to the Registers module, and select the draft user's name from the dropdown list.



Below is a comparison of the previous and current designs for your reference. 


1) Register of Directors 


Previous Design

- When adding a user to the register, the Administrator was required to select "Existing Board.Vision User" or "New User" from the "Add New Entry" pop-up window. 
Current Design

- When adding a user to the register, the "Register of Directors" pop-up window will appear, allowing Administrators to select the name from the "Present Full Name" dropdown list.


2) Register of CEOs


Previous Design

- When adding a user to the register, the Administrator was required to select "Existing Board.Vision User" or "New User" from the "Add New Entry" pop-up window. 
Current Design

- When adding a user to the register, the "Register of CEOs" pop-up window will appear, allowing Administrators to select the name from the "Present Full Name" dropdown list.


3) Register of Secretaries


Previous Design

- When adding a user to the register, the Administrator was required to select "Existing Board.Vision User" or "New User" from the "Add New Entry" pop-up window. 
Current Design

- When adding a user to the register, the "Register of Secretaries" pop-up window will appear, allowing Administrators to select the name from the "Present Full Name" dropdown list.


4) Registerof Members


Previous Design

- When adding a user to the register, the Administrator was required to select "Existing Board.Vision User" or "New User" from the "Add New Entry" pop-up window. 
Current Design

- When adding a user to the register, the "Register of Members" pop-up window will appear, allowing Administrators to select the name from the "Present Full Name" dropdown list.


5) Register of Key Personnels


Previous Design

- When adding a user to the register, the Administrator was required to select "Existing Board.Vision User" or "New User" from the "Add New Entry" pop-up window. 
Current Design

- When adding a user to the register, the "Register of Key Personnel" pop-up window will appear, allowing Administrators to select the name from the "Present Full Name" dropdown list.
