Welcome to Board.Vision Tutorials. In this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps to create a new template.


Important Note: The Board.Vision web app is optimized and supported for desktop use on Google Chrome (version 65.0 and later) and Microsoft Edge (version 87.0 and later). 



To create a new template: 


1) Log in to your Board.Vision account using your registered email address and password. 


2) Once you are logged in, click on SmartSign from the left menu.    


3) Click on the Templates button at the top right of your screen.


4) Click on the +Add Template button.


5) Enter the Template Name.


6) Next, complete the following steps:

  • Add Administrators to the “Add Preparer” field. This will grant them access to the template.

  • Add BV User or Add Signatory to the “Add Signatories” field. You may add both Board.Vision (BV) users and non-BV users as signatories.

  • Add CC to add Observers.



7) Once completed, click Save to add the template to your "SmartSign Templates" gallery.


8) In the near future, when creating documents, you will be able to select your saved templates from the "Template" dropdown menu.
