1.1 Where is Board.Vision data stored?
All files are stored securely in Microsoft Azure within a private cloud network.
1.2 Does Board.Vision use public cloud storage?
No. Board.Vision operates on a private cloud network that is not publicly accessible.
Each customer is provided with dedicated file storage, ensuring complete data isolation and enhanced security.
Additionally, file storage can be configured for backups across multiple regions, supporting business continuity and disaster recovery requirements.
1.3 How are files and documents encrypted in Board.Vision?
Files and documents are protected using AES 256-bit encryption, an industry-standard for securing sensitive data.

2. Access Controls & Authentication
2.1 Why is an OTP Required at First Login?
To enhance account security, Board.Vision uses One-Time Password (OTP) authentication, adding an extra layer of protection.
Users must provide a unique PIN sent to their registered mobile number (via SMS) or email after logging in with their credentials.
This ensures only authorised users can access the system.
A valid mobile number and email address must be registered to use Board.Vision.
2.2 Can I disable OTP for convenience?
- OTP cannot be disabled for first-time account activation (mandatory security step).
- For subsequent approvals (e.g., approving resolutions), OTP usage can be configured by your company’s Administrator.
2.3 What happens if my account is blocked due to multiple failed login attempts?
