If you have a Board.Vision account, this tutorial will provide you with the steps to electronically sign a document with your Board.Vision signature.
Important Note: The Board.Vision web app is optimised and supported for desktop use on Google Chrome (version 65.0 and later) and Microsoft Edge (version 87.0 and later).
To electronically sign a document with your Board.Vision signature:
1) Access the document from your Board.Vision Account or email.
2) On the document page, you will be able to view the number of fields that are pending your action at the top center of the document.
By clicking on Next, you will be directed to the respective fields.
3) Click on the Add signature field.
4) On the "My Signature" pop-up window, click on the Use Board.Vision Signature button (for Board Vision users):
5) Click on Yes Proceed to provide your consent to the use of your Board.Vision signature for document signing purposes.
6) Enter the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your email/mobile and click Verify for confirmation.
7) On the "Saved Signature" pop-up window, select your Board.Vision Signature and click Done. Once confirmed, your signature will automatically be applied to all required signature fields in the document.
8) Update the required fields and click on Finish.
9) Once your document has been successfully signed, you will be directed to the screen below.

On Email Notifications
1) The preparer and you will receive an email from notifications@board.vision with the title “<Company Name>: SmartSign - 'Signatory's 'Name' has signed your document”.
2) When all Signatories have signed the document, the system will automatically seal it. An email from notifications@board.vision with the subject line “<Company Name>: SmartSign - Your document has been completed” will be sent to all Signatories, Observer(s), and the Preparer.
Note: Signatories will receive this email only if the Preparer has enabled the option for them to receive the document and report.
The email will include two attachments:
a) The completed document containing all Signatories’ signatures and/or inputs.
b) The Certificate of Completion (CoC) report.
Important: The View Complete Document and View Certificate of Completion links provided in the email will expire 7 days after the email is received.
