An Enhancement to the Document Collaboration Feature to Allow Users to Tag Other Participants in Comments

Modified on Fri, 6 Jun at 11:16 AM

We have enhanced the Document Collaboration feature — users can now @mention other Participants or Administrators when adding comments within the collaboration page, making it easier to draw attention to specific feedback, and collaboration becomes more efficient and interactive.

The mentioned users will receive an email notification, helping them stay informed.

How to use @mention in comments

1) On the document page, click on the Actions button.

2) Then, select Collaboration.

3) Next, click on the Comment button at the top right of the screen.

4) Once you click on any part of the document, a comment dialogue box will appear, allowing you to add your input and mention participants using @.

5) Once you click on "@" in the comment box, a dropdown will appear allowing you to select the Participants or Administrators you wish to mention in your comment.

5) After selecting the name(s), click on the up arrow (send) button.

The mentioned user(s) will be notified via email and can view your comment directly within the document.

Below is an example of the email notification a user will receive when they are @mentioned in a comment:
