Welcome to Board.Vision Tutorials. In this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps to create a new template.
Important Note: The Board.Vision web app is optimised and supported for desktop use on Google Chrome (version 65.0 and later) and Microsoft Edge (version 87.0 and later).
To create a new template:
1) Log in to your Board.Vision account using your registered email address and password.
2) Once you are logged in, click on SmartSign from the left menu.
3) Click on the Templates button at the top right of your screen.
4) On the "SmartSign Templates" page, click on +Add Template.
5) Enter the Template Name.
6) Next, input the following fields:
Add Administrators to the "Add Preparer" field.
This grants them access to the template.Add BV User or Add Signatory to the "Add Signatories" field.
i) Click on Add BV User - To add an existing Board.Vision User.
ii) Click on Add Signatory - To add a non-Board.Vision User.Add Observers to the "Notify Other Users (Optional)" field.
Click on Add CC and enter the observers. This allows you to include observers who will be copied on the item.
7) To ensure the user receives an OTP notification, click on the Pen icon and select one of the following options and click Confirm:
Send OTP via Email
Send OTP via Mobile
8) If you want all signatories to receive the document for signing at the same time, add all signatories to Box 1.
If you want to set a signing sequence, click on Add More Row to place signatories in separate boxes (e.g., Box 1 and Box 2).
In this case:
Signatories in Box 1 will receive the document first.
Once all signatories in Box 1 have signed, the document will automatically be routed to signatories in Box 2.
Each signatory will receive an email notification when it is their turn to sign.
9) Once completed, click Save to add the template to your "SmartSign Templates" gallery.
10) In the near future, when creating a new SmartSign document, you will be able to select your saved templates from the Template dropdown menu.
