How to Upload Documents into the Record Management System

Welcome to Board.Vision Tutorials. In this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps to upload documents into the Record Management System.


Important Note: The Board.Vision web app is optimised and supported for desktop use on Google Chrome (version 65.0 and later) and Microsoft Edge (version 87.0 and later).


To upload documents into the Record Management System:

1) Log in to your Board.Vision account using your registered email address and password. 


2) From the left navigation menu, go to Record Management System and click on Upload Document.


3) Select Single Document or Multiple Documents from the dropdown menu. 


Option A: Uploading a "Single Document" 


1) Choose the Document Type from the dropdown and click Confirm


2) Drag and drop your file or click Browse to select it. 


3) Update the Title, add Tags, link relevant details under Associated To, and enable the Allow Download option if applicable. 


4) Go to the Viewer tab, select the specific Users or User Groups who should have access, and click Confirm


Option B: Uploading "Multiple Documents"


1) Drag and drop your files or click Browse to select them.


2) Choose the appropriate Document Type and click Import.


3)  Once uploaded, your documents will be searchable within RMS and can be filtered under Others.
