How to Void a Document

Welcome to Board.Vision Tutorials. In this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps to void a document.


Important Note: The Board.Vision web app is optimised and supported for desktop use on Google Chrome (version 65.0 and later) and Microsoft Edge (version 87.0 and later). 



To void a document: 


1) Log in to your Board.Vision account using your registered email address and password. 


2) From the left navigation menu, go to SmartSignand click on Select Action.


3) Select Void from the pop-up menu.  

Note:
Preparers can only void documents with an “In Circulation” or “Declined” status.


4) After clicking Void, the “Void Document” window will appear.

Enter the reason for voiding the document and click Void to confirm.


Note:
Voiding a document will immediately stop the signing process.


5) Once the document has been successfully voided, the status will be updated to “Cancelled”.


7) An email from notifications@board.vision with the title “<Company Name>: SmartSign - Document was void” will be sent to all the signatories and the preparer.


Important Note:
If a Signatory attempts to access the document after it has been voided, the following screen will appear.
