How to Set an Auto Reminder

Welcome to Board.Vision Tutorials. In this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps to set an auto reminder.

Important Note: The Board.Vision web app is optimised and supported for desktop use on Google Chrome (version 65.0 and later) and Microsoft Edge (version 87.0 and later).

To set an auto reminder: 

1) Log in to your Board.Vision account using your registered email address and password. 

2) Once you are logged in, go to SmartSign from the left menu and click on Select Action.

Then, select Set Reminder from the pop-up menu.  

3) On the Set Automatic Reminder pop-up window, select the Set Automatic Reminder checkbox.

The system will then provide you with the option to set either a Single Reminder or a Recurring Reminder. 

a) To Set a Single Reminder

• Enter the reminder Date and Time.
• Click Confirm.

Note: The reminder will only be sent to pending Signatories on the selected date and time. 

b) To Set a Recurring Reminder

Enter the following details:

i. Reminder Time

ii. Reminder Frequency - Choose how often reminders should be sent by entering a value in the Number of days between reminders field.

Examples:

• Daily – Enter 1
• Alternate Days – Enter 2
• Weekly – Enter 7
• Monthly – Enter 30

4) Once the auto reminder has been set, Signatories who have not yet signed the document will receive a separate reminder email from notifications@board.vision with the subject title: 

“<Company Name>: SmartSign reminder - <Preparer Name> has sent you a document to sign or review”.
