How to Delete an Appointment or Interest

Welcome to Board.Vision Tutorials. In this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps to delete an appointment or interest.

Important Note: 

• Board.Vision web app is supported on Google Chrome (version 65.0 and later) and Microsoft Edge (version 87.0 and later).
• The Appointments in companies that are pre-populated from Board.Vision cannot be deleted in the Director’s Disclosure portal. If there are any changes required, the Preparer should contact the Company Secretary to make the required change from the Board.Vision portal via Registers module. 
• You can only delete appointments that meet the following conditions:

  • The appointment source is “Self”, and

  • The appointment has not yet been circulated.

To delete an appointment or interest:

1) Log in to your Director Disclosure account using your registered email address and password.  

2) Once you are logged in, both Sections 156 and 165 will be visible on your screen. At the top right of the screen, you will be able to see your Director’s name. 

3) If you wish to switch to act for another Director, 

a) Click the Director’s name at the top right corner.
b) In the “Switch Director” pop-up window, select the Director you want to act for.
c) Click Switch Director to confirm. 

4) Once you have selected the director, click on the company you would like to delete. 

Important Note: Only those appointments/ interests that have yet to be circulated can be deleted.

5) On the "Change In Appointment / Interests" page, click on the Delete Appointment button at the top right. 

6)  On the Delete Appointment / Interest pop-up window, click on the Confirm.

After the appointment/interest has been successfully deleted, the corresponding entry will be removed from your Current Appointments / Interests list.
