In this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps to cease a Director's appointment in the Register of Directors.
Important Note: Board.Vision web app is supported on Google Chrome (version 65.0 and later) and Microsoft Edge (version 87.0 and later).
To cease a Director's appointment in the Register of Directors:
1) Log in to your Board.Vision account using your registered email address and password.
2) Once you are logged in, navigate to Registers from the left menu. Under the Register of Directors listing page, select a record and click on the Remove from Register (Trash) button.
3) On the "Remove from Register" pop-up screen, enter the Date of Cessation and Reason of Cessation.
Then, select the Director's Disclosure status and click on Remove from Register.
Note:
Select the following for Director's Disclosure status,
a) Yes, it requires circulation
- The appointment/interest status will be displayed as "Pending Circulation", and a disclosure circulation will be required by the Director/Authorised Preparer via the BVDD module.
b) No, it does not require circulation
- The appointment/interest status will be displayed as "Not Circulable", and no disclosure circulation is required by the Director/Authorised Preparer via the BVDD module.
c) No, it's already circulated
- The appointment/interest status will be displayed as "Circulated", and no disclosure circulation is required by the Director/Authorised Preparer via the BVDD module.
- This status is usually opted for if circulation has been done out of BVDD.
4) Once updated, the record will be displayed under the past listing page.
