A new setting has been introduced to enable Administrators to configure whether preparers are allowed to resolve a SmartSign document before all signatories have completed signing.
Important Notes
- Only Product Owners and Super Administrators have access to the Global Settings page.
- The setting is enabled by default.
- When enabled, preparers will see the Resolve button in SmartSign on the Select Action pop-up menu. When disabled, the Resolve button will be hidden from preparers.
To set the resolve option for SmartSign:
1) Click your Profile Picture at the top right and select Global Settings.

2) Under SmartSign Settings, enable or disable the option "Allows the preparer to resolve the SmartSign document prior to completion by all signatories".

3) On the SmartSign listing page, click the Select Action button:
- If enabled, preparers can resolve documents even if they are still in circulation and pending signatures.
- If disabled, the resolve option will not be available.
