An Enhancement to Allow Administrators an Option to Transfer Users' Annotations When Replacing Files

Administrators now have more flexibility when replacing documents in Board.Vision.

  • A new checkbox option, “Transfer annotation to new document” has been added.

  • By default, this option is checked, meaning annotations will be carried over to the replaced document.

  • If unchecked, annotations will not be transferred.



This enhancement applies to:

  • Meeting Agenda Documents

  • Additional Documents / Post Documents / Meeting Minutes 


Below is a comparison of the previous and current designs for your reference.
 


Previous Design
  • After clicking on the Replace button, the document pop-up did not include an option for Administrators to decide whether or not annotations should be carried over to new document.
Current Design
  • The document pop-up now includes a checkbox option, “Transfer annotation to new document”.


  • Administrators can uncheck it if they do not want annotations to carry over.
